On the last night in the year 2009, I chose to go for a tour to Taipei and Ki Long with my friends. That is my first time to attend the New Year welcoming party, and is also the first time to stride into the new with my friends, so I thought that was really a special experience for me.
Fortunately, the free way wasn’t jammed badly when we were in the way to Tapei, so we arrived on the time as that we hope in our schedule. Then, we went toward the Taipei City Government Ground. It was crowed with lots of people, so in spite of my friend and I made lots efforts to go through the crowd and tried our best to get nearer to the stage, we only could see the small image of the performers on the stage. But we still had much fun, especially in order not to be separated by the crowd, my friend and I always held each other’s hand firmly when we walked through the crowded people. I thought that was really a special experience for me. And when the time approached to twelve o’clock midnight, with the colorful fireworks and the cheerful music, despite the lower temperature, we all welcomed the New Year coming in the highest spirits. And then, after the fireworks show, we also went to the Fu Long seaside to attend the outside singing performance and to greet the first sunrise in the year 2010. But unfortunately, we didn’t see the beautiful sunrise due to the bad weather, and I thought the singing performance wasn’t as good as I expected, either. It was really a bit of pity.
To conclude, though this tour was imperfect, it is still undoubted that I really had the most unforgettable memory, not only because I eventually experienced the exciting atmosphere to welcome the New Year with numerous people and appreciated the spectacular fireworks show, but also the most important was I really had a wonderful and valuable time with my good friends.

Notebook VS Desktop
Nowadays, there are mainly two kinds of computers. They are notebook and desktop. When we choose a computer, sometimes, it’s surely not easy to decide which one we should buy, because each of them has their advantages and disadvantages. Following are the comparison between notebooks and desktops.
The first point is convenience. It’s undoubted that notebooks are more convenient than desktops, because they have less weight and they take smaller room, either. Therefore we can carry them easily. For example, we often do presentations in meetings or classes by using the power point to show the related information. In that time, notebook may indeed help us a lot. On the contrary, desktops weighs heavier and also take larger room, so it is not as convenient as notebooks that we can use them anytime and anywhere.
And the second point is the size of screen. General to say, in order to save the volume, notebooks usually have smaller screens, which actually aren’t good for those people who have the poor eyesight at all. If they always have to make lots of efforts to recognize the tiny words or pictures in the small screens, they may indeed harm their eyes more seriously. In the contrast, desktop have less this kind of problems. The screens of the desktop computer are usually bigger than the notebooks’, which can provide us the clear images from them. Therefore, if we just concern the degree of comfort, the desktops will be the better choice.
Besides, the last point that we also take much notice is the price. Since notebook computers have been marketed for a period of time, they are not so expensive like before. Instead of it, because notebook has the smaller volume, they will cost less material in production, so that they are cheaper, too. While the prices of desktops are higher because of their bigger size and other additional components.

My Favorite Outdoor Activity
When my sister and I were young, our parents often took us to go camping on weekends or vocation. I like camping very much because it is very fun and I indeed have many good memories about it. In my recollection, camping means works together, every time, after we arrived to the camping place. The first thing is setting the tent. So Sisters and I would let the stick go pass through the holes on the tent in the beginning and then we would shout together “one, two, three, pull!” and we would pull the tent to each of our side, and then the tent would be built up successfully. It isn’t difficult at all because we are all familiar with it very much, but each time, we still felt really achievement. And then we would start to prepare the meal. We chose barbecue the most. I would help Mother clean the ingredient, and sisters would help Father to built the barbecue frame and set the fire. The sound “pci pci” set out from the fire and charcoals really made us excited. And then Mother would put the well prepared ingredient onto the barbecue frame, soon later the attractive aroma started to spread out. The aroma was so delicious that we were all mouth watering and suddenly felt really hungry. And after we tasted them, of course, their taste were also terrific, especially the mutton. The meat tasted soft, juicy, and it really could raise someone’s appetite. So I almost couldn’t control myself to stop eat one after one. Those are the reason why I like go camping so much, because we can not only get lots of fun but also have the tasty enjoyment during the wild cooking time.
Love
There are many kinds of love in the world including, love between friendship, love of lovers, and love of family…etc. Each of them has their characteristics. The love between lovers is sweet and romance. When people completely fall in it, they often think they are the happiest in the world. The love of friendship always makes people touched especially when they are in the difficulties. And the love of siblings often shows the most intimate affection. Nevertheless, among so many different kinds of love; to my opinion, I think the love of the parents is the greatest, because it is the most selfless, sincere, and eternal love.
It undoubted that the love of family is selfless, it certainly won’t ask for any repayment. Form the day we was born in this world, we started to accept lot of love from our father and mother. They always care about us a lot, work hard to make money to buy the nutritive food to make us grow health, and then when we are old enough to learn more things, they start teach us. In spite of that sometimes, we indeed can’t learn well, they are still be really patient.
Second, the love of parents is most sincere. That is a saying that “in the world, there are two people who won’t harm you forever. One is our teachers, ant the other are our parents”. It’s definitely true that what parents do for us is the reflection of that their love. They always want us be better and better. But sometimes, it’s possible that they use the wrong way to express their meaning, as result, we may misunderstand and even be angry with them.
And the last, the love of our parents is also eternal. Compared with other kinds of love, I can make a promise that it indeed exists for the longest time. From we are little babies to now we are almost adults, our parents still often care us a lot, only they may express in the different way. As long as we are still alive we will always experience them.
Though as the following mentioned, the love of our parents exist everywhere in our life, we may often ignore them because of our other business like the job or school life. I think this is really not a good phenomenon, since our parents spend so much spirit for us for such a long time and without any expectation of reward, furthermore with real sincere hearts, in spite of how busy we are, we still should always remember the love of them, and show gratitude to them more frequently. After all, the love of our parents is real the most valuable love in the world, we indeed should cherish it a lot.

Dreams
When people were young, each of them indeed has their own dreams. However, after experiencing a lot of things in the process of growing, now most of them had almost forgot their original dream. But, there are still a few people who always keep their dreams in mind, and continue to make lots of efforts to fulfilling the dreams. We indeed should take them as the models and to imitate their spirits.
Two weeks ago, I attended a meaningful lecture. The lecturer is Liu Ta Tan, who is an infantile paralysis suffer, but he is also a warrior of life and a real dreams pursuer. When Liu was a little child, an accident made his leg atrophy, and finally he became a complete disability. After his family and relatives knew the fact, they all gave up this child. They all thought that it’s undoubted that Liu must need to depend on others in his remaining life. They all don’t expect that Liu can have any achievement in the future. Even some of his relatives were more ruthless; they told Liu’s parents that the easiest way for Liu to make money is just to let him to be the beggar in the market. Though Liu experience so many terrible comments like these from other people, he always didn’t give up himself, and also set the dreams of life. At the time he couldn’t know any words yet, he memorized his dreams by drawing instead. He draw three pictures in a piece of paper: a bowl of rice, a bachelor hat, and a baby, which symbolize that in the future he wanted to be entire independent to make life by his own self, to study in the college, and the last one is that he wanted to have his own family. Liu stuck the paper on the door of his bedroom to remind himself always making efforts to achieve those dreams every day. In spite of in the process of achieving these dreams, Liu absolutely met numerous difficulties and frustrations, he always keep going, and never gave up, so finally he took advantage of his talent in machinery design and became a famous inventor. As well as he also fulfilled all of his three dreams.
“Dream” is a noun but also a verb. It is beautiful to have dreams. But if we want make the dreams come true, the only way is to take actions, and always keep going. After all, “no pain no gain”, without making efforts, there are absolutely no chances to fulfill our dreams.
